Women, Wilderness & Wellness, Outback Style

Bonsmara B&B appears to be a small accommodation in rural Tasmania run by an animal loving farm girl, the proprietor. There’s a bigger story and goal when you get beneath the blankets and bedding. This is your farm to feel good, says Jan about her dream.

Her rural Tasmanian farmstay is unlike most bed & breakfast experiences in that you choose what you want your stay there to be…for relaxation, outdoor recreation or coaching. “We offer activities and chances to change your life,” says Jan the owner and counselor.

Overlooking the glorious peaceful Huntsman Lake, surrounded by magnificent mountain views of the Great Western Tiers and thought-provoking valleys, Bonsmara has wonderful surroundings.

“Come and meet the farm animals, enjoy wonderful scenic paddles in the kayaks on the lake, take bush walks to the Meander Falls or Mother Cummings Peak or go fishing in the lake. Afterwards, indulge in meditation, massage and other alternate treatments,” says your guide.
