Hobart Gets Chalked in Celebration

Tasmania’s capital, Hobart, has a famous neighborhood called Battery Point. The residents of this suburb were recently canvassed door-to-door to get a count of how may support Australian Marriage Equality: 72%c said they did and signed a marriage equality petition.

To celebrate, Battery Point’s iconic Kelly’s Steps were rainbow chalked. Thanks for the photos, Andrew Skeggs and Rodney Croome. Keep on keeping on with more suburbs.
